Sale gave themselves a 2 win buffer into third spot on the ladder after a convincing win over Lindenow South.

The Magpies peppered away at the goals in the first term with marginal success, while the Swampies were finding it hard to score a major themselves.

The second quarter saw the visitors start to pull away, managing to make the most of their opportunities in front of goal, while the home side struggled to make any impact on the scoreboard.

After half time it was all Sale – who added another 4.6 – while Lindenow South only managed to add a singular behind to their final tally.

Emily Ogden and Ashlee Sciortino were standouts for the Magpies and were well supported by Kate McMillan, Kayla Sherlock and Finlay Parker.

The Swampies were well lead by Teagan Longhurst, Sophie Ahsam and Shannon Gotthold.

The split round continues Sunday July 11th with Foster taking on Warragul Industrials and Moe-Newborough hosting Boisdale-Briagolong.
