1ST SEMI FINAL:

1ST SEMI FINAL MATCH REVIEW – WY YUNG V LINDENOW

WY Yung has locked in a spot in the East Gippsland football preliminary final, sensationally defeating Lindenow by two points.

The Tigers, winning 10.10 (70) to 10.8 (68), kicked just three behinds in the second quarter, but kept Lindenow to just one point in the third to make the final term one for the ages.

Peter Craze booted five for Wy Yung and Charlie Bryan was named best-on-ground.

This is the first time since 2014 the Cats haven’t made the grand final.

Luke Dyer was named best for Lindenow.

Wy Yung will play the loser of this Saturday’s second semi-final between Stratford and Lakes Entrance in the preliminary final on September 8.
