MEENIYAN WEATHER FORECAST:

SEMI FINAL MATCH PREVIEW – FISH CREEK V STONY CREEK

Stony Creek will take on this year’s minor premiers Fish Creek at Meeniyan, who are searching for their third successive premiership.

The winner will advance to this year’s Grand Final, while the side finding themselves without the winning score will take on the winner of Foster v Toora in a preliminary final next week at Tarwin Lower.

The Kangaroos lead 2-1 on the wins ledger in their three encounters with the Lions this year, with their most recent clash in Round 12 clash being a one goal margin. Ironically, the visiting side has always been victorious – but neither side will have the home ground “disadvantage” on Saturday.

Fish Creek also go into this game with far superior form, with their lost loss against Stony Creek back in Round 7.

Stony Creek’s form has been patchy recently, with three wins from their last six games. In their last five matches they have lost to Fish Creek, Toora and Foster.

HEAD-TO-HEAD FOR 2018:

Round 2: Stony Creek 7.9.51 lost to Fish Creek 15.8.98

Round 7: Fish Creek 8.13.61 lost to Stony Creek 13.5.83

Round 12: Stony Creek 10.6.66 lost to Fish Creek 11.6.72

FORM FROM LAST FIVE GAMES (Round 12-16):

Fish Creek: WWWWW (5-0)

Stony Creek: LLWLW (2-3)

STONY CREEK WEATHER FORECAST:

ELIMINATION FINAL MATCH PREVIEW – FOSTER V TOORA

Foster will take on traditional rival Toora at Stony Creek on Sunday. The Tigers are entering their first finals series since 2016, while the Magpies will be hoping to make it back-to-back Grand Final appearances.

The winner will advance to next week’s Preliminary Final against the loser of Fish Creek and Stony Creek at Tarwin Lower, while the side finding themselves without the winning score will find themselves planning Mad Monday celebrations earlier than they hoped.

The Magpies lead 2-1 on the wins ledger in their three encounters with the Tigers this year, with their most recent clash in Round 11 clash being a 23-point margin in favour of Toora. The home sides have always been victorious in their matches this season – but neither side will have the home ground advantage on Sunday.

Foster’s form going into this game is desirable for them, with their only loss in the last five games against Fish Creek in Round 13.

Toora’s form had been hot until recently. The Pies won four games in a row from Rounds 11-14, but have lost their last two matches to the top 2 teams in Fish Creek and Stony Creek.

HEAD-TO-HEAD FOR 2018:

Round 1: Toora 9.12.66 defeated Foster 5.12.42

Round 6: Foster 14.5.89 defeated Toora 10.6.66

Round 11: Toora 11.6.72 defeated Foster 6.13.49

FORM FROM LAST FIVE GAMES (Round 12-16):

Foster: WWLWW (4-1)

Toora: WWWLL (3-2)
