OUR TWO CENTS:
With three rounds to go and the capitulation of Swan Reach, things have opened up. Yet, the Swans could have a say in how the final four finish.
Bruthen sit a game clear in third after their victory over Buchan last week, but will be wary that a loss to Swan Reach will drop them right back in the pecking order. If they win this and next week, that should secure them a finals berth.
Lindenow South, newly injected with some 11th hour player clearances, can smell blood in the water. There will be no greater opportunity to put themselves into finals contention with a win over Buchan. The Cavemen however, will have different plans knowing that if they drop this one, it could be the start of the end.
Game of the round goes to the top of the table clash between first placed Omeo Benambra and second placed Swifts Creek. The former started the season a bit shabbily, while the latter had a strong start but have felt the pinch in the second half of the season. The Battle of the Mountain should be a great contest.
