After conceding the first four goals of the game and trailing by 25 points at quarter time, Box Hill overcame Casey to win the 2018 VFL Grand Final by 10 points.
Will Hams (19 disposals, seven marks and five rebound-50s) was influential in intercepting and rebounding opposition forward forays for the Hawks, while Changkuoth Jiath was also important in his defensive role with 10 disposals and 3 marks.

Tommy Bugg was one of the best for Casey with 24 disposals, 5 marks, 7 tackles and a great goal in the 2nd quarter.
Declan Keilty played an important role for Casey down back and was also named in the best players with 11 disposals, 3 marks and 5 tackles. Cory Stockdale had a quieter game than he would’ve liked, with just the 3 disposals and 2 tackles to his name on the stats sheet.
