Mirboo North will go into this match as favourites, but Hill End are up and about and should not be written off.
The boys from Willow Grove finished just 2 points behind the Tigers on the ladder and are in a rich vein of form, losing just the one game against YYN since Round 5.
Mirboo North will have confidence coming into this match knowing they can match it with the competition’s best after their draw last week against the Bombers. Not including the Round 17 bye, the Tigers have not managed to string more than two wins together since Round 9. In fact since that round the pattern has been loss-win-win three times over. Mirboo North enter this game on the back of two wins. They will be hoping to break that pattern in this game.
The two teams have met twice this year, splitting the ledger one win a piece. Mirboo North were convincing winners in Round 3 by 45 points, while in Round 12 Hill End smashed an undermanned Tigers outfit by 66 points.

MORWELL EAST v YINNAR

Missing out on a double chance final by percentage, Morwell East will hope to make the most of their sudden rematch against Yinnar.
Meeting just last week – with the Hawks getting over the line by 2 points – this Elimination Final also gives the Magpies an opportunity to exact their revenge.
Morwell East hold favourable form though, losing just one match since Round 11. Yinnar have struggled to consolidate any form in the latter half of the season, but were showing signs of their winning ways before last week’s game.
