Gippsland Power were well represented at the TAC Cup awards night on Sunday September 2nd. The club boasted three TAC Cup Team of the Year spots across both the girls and boys teams, as well as an individual award for Austin Hodge, who won the Personal Growth award. Hodge also made his debut in the VFL last week at Footscray.

It caps off a great finish to Gippsland Power’s boys side, who finished the home and away season in second spot on the ladder and are due to play Geelong Falcons in an upcoming Elimination Final.

Kyle Reid and Xavier Duursma both were recognised for outstanding seasons being named in the TAC Cup Team of the Year, while Duursma also polled well in the Morrish Medal, finishing equal 6th on 13 votes.

For the girls side, Tyla Hanks was recognised for her outstanding season earning the ruck rover spot in the TAC Cup Team of the Year and coming runner up in the best & fairest count.
