MATCH PREVIEW

Bass Coast Breakers will host 5th placed Port Melbourne in their last home game of the year.

The Breakers will want to honour the milestone of Ella Angarane, who notches her 50th game with the club. Despite the closeness of ladder positions Port Melbourne have plenty to play for being one win outside of the top four and a victory against the Breakers will seem them well placed to make a play for a finals spot in the last round.

Last time these two teams met was in Round 5 at North Port Oval, which saw the home side win by 45 points over the visiting Bass Coast side.

DIVISION THREE

WARRAGUL v PAKENHAM

Where is it being played?: Western Park, Warragul

What time is the seniors game scheduled to start?: 5:30pm, Saturday August 10th

MATCH PREVIEW

Finals beckons for the Dusties who currently find themselves sitting fourth after a rich vein of form.

But they could find themselves shuffled back outside the top four again as they come up against an undefeated Pakenham side.

While this will be Warragul’s strongest test yet, they last met in Round 5 at Toomuc Reserve which saw the Dusties push the ladder leaders within 8 points.

Shane Ingham’s women are now a different side and will have the self belief required to inflict Pakenham’s first defeat of the year. Should the Dusties taste defeat, they could find themselves in a must win situation next week.

Alicia Clerks is also due to play her 50th game for the club.
