Reigning premiers and currently undefeated Bruthen will come into this game with confidence sky high. They will be especially buoyed by the fact that Swifts Creek defeated Lindenow South last week, as the Bulldogs defeated the Demons by 57 points in Round 3. Players to watch will be Harley Kenner, Jamie Barton, Zach Tactor and Todd Cook.
Lindenow South will be looking to bring Bruthen down a peg after suffering their first loss of the season last weekend by 5 points. The Swampies were without spiritual leader & coach Noel Jansz last week and if he returns this week, may be up and about a bit more. Players to watch will be Ashley Hood, Russell White, Jarrett Callaway and Sam Howden.Gippsland Footy admin
Swan Reach will see this game as a great opportunity to get their first win on the board against an another struggling club in Buchan. The Swans have barely given a yelp since Round 2, and their full time scores have gotten progressively worse since the beginning of the season. Players to watch will be Bronson Ritchie, Ivan Hood, Gary Kramme and Matt Cantrill.
Buchan will be also be looking to get their first win on the board for the season and will see this game as their best opportunity to get off the mark. The Cavemen have also yet to get near any of the other top 4 sides, though have managed better score lines than the Swans. Players to watch will be Tom Buckley-Kohne, Chris Wheeler, Mathew Whelan and James Joiner.Gippsland Footy admin
Swifts Creek are coming off a tough win against the Swampies last week and will be looking to back it up against Omeo-Benambra. A win to the Demons could potentially see them jump a spot to 2nd on the ladder, though a loss could see them drop to 4th as their percentage is the lowest out of the top four teams, even though they have one more win than the Ranges. They will also eagerly await the return of goal kicker Damian Tubb, who missed last week’s clash. Players to watch will be Nathan Fehst, Chris Webb, Jordy Cameron, Jesse Hack & Aiden Commins.
Omeo-Benambra will look to consolidate themselves as a genuine contender with a win against Swifts Creek this Saturday. The Ranges had two close losses to start the season and have backed up with solid wins over the bottom two teams in the last two rounds. Players to watch will be Cody Graske, Tyler Bett, Campbell Asham and Nao Fujita.Gippsland Footy admin
