TAC Cup girls Round 4 sees 5th placed Gippsland Power take on 10th placed Calder Cannons

When & where is it being played?: Morwell Rec Reserve, Tuesday April 3rd

What time is the game scheduled to start?: 2:45pm

Selected sides:

Heading down the highway on Tuesday, Gippsland Power face the Calder Cannons at home. Gippsland has collected six of a possible eight points in the past two weeks, while Calder won its first game of the season against Western last weekend. A head-to-head between Power star Tyla Hanks and Calder gun Madison Prespakis would be a highlight for spectators.

Gippsland’s form over the past fortnight has unearthed some more depth with defenders Emily Haeusler and Julia Redmond, midfielders Alana Rippon and Ebony Jones, and forwards Nikia Webber, Chandra Abrahams and the versatile ruck/forward/midfielder Jazz Ferguson all impressive of late. The Power have some impressive kicks of the football and they will look to control the tempo and hit-up targets down forward while running all day long.
