Warragul Football Netball Club is seeking a Senior Football Coach (preferably playing) for 2019.

Warragul FNC is affiliated with the Gippsland Football League, the premier football competition across the region.

Located a short distance from the South Eastern Suburbs, this is an exciting opportunity to join a club that has been re-built by our current coach who is stepping aside after four years at the helm.

We have a rich history dating back to 1879 that includes much success in the Gippsland Football League and previously the Latrobe Valley League.  We are currently seeking applications to fill the role of Senior Football Coach in our quest to be a major influence in the Gippsland competition.

The club has a strong culture, a rising profile and a clear strategic direction.  This vacancy offers a fantastic opportunity to lead our club through an exciting period.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • AFL Coaching accreditation
  • Previous coaching experience adaptable to lead football at premier league level
  • Strong Interpersonal skills to deal with players, staff and committee executive
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own ability further
  • Positive attitude, organised and well prepared
  • Willingness to model our club values
  • The ability to engage with the club’s members, sponsors and the media

Applicants must have previous experience in football, and an enthusiasm to develop and nurture footballers and their own coaching ability.
