7th placed Bairnsdale will need to be at their best in order to compete with 3rd placed Sale at Bairnsdale.

Drouin’s form has improved out of sight recently, pushing teams of quality such as Sale and Traralgon to within 2-3 goal margins. However, they will likely need to product their best game of the year to challenge Leongatha who are currently nestled in 2nd on the ladder.

Last time they met in Round 7, The Parrots accounted for the Hawks comfortably with a 35 point win.

Leongatha have not lost a game since Round 4, while Drouin haven’t won a game since Round 4.

MATCH PREVIEW – MORWELL V WONTHAGGI

Morwell and Wonthaggi have been of this season’s strugglers. Both teams will be playing for pride today as the Tigers will attempt to use their home ground advantage to secure their fourth win of the season, while the Power will look to draw level with the home side on three wins for the year.

Their previous encounter in Round 7 this year saw Morwell take the honours by 39 points down at Wonthaggi.

The Tigers last win came in Round 11 with a victory over Bairnsdale, while Wonthaggi’s last 4 points came in Round 9 over Drouin.
