Leongatha go into this season with a new coach in Paul Carbis. Carbis has stated he will not make sweeping changes to the side and the player turnover for the Parrots in the off-season has been minimal.
Wonthaggi spent 2017 developing youth and will look to use that as a foundation of success in 2018. They have also recruited well outside of the club and will look to be a contender again.
Warragul will look to build upon a foundation of youth development, along with some strong recruiting. Coach Stephen Kidd is now in his fourth year at the helm and will want to see his team progress further up the ladder.
Morwell’s “Outs” list is lengthy this season and there will likely be a heavy focus on developing the youth in their side. Coach Joel Soutar will want to encourage an attacking style of football, but will be working hard to make sure their defense is on point against their opposition.
