The Seagulls got the jump on Orbost-Snowy Rovers early, finishing 17.12 (114) to 9.8 (62).

A 20-point lead at quarter-time made life hard for the Blues, as the margin grew to 10 goals by three-quarter-time.

Alex Saunders and Gary Puruntatameri kicked four goals each for Lakes, with Zac Svetlik best.

Orbost’s Hamish Nettleton and Clint Voss stood out with three goals each, and Jake Bellman was named best.

Paynesville’s first round win over Orbost is beginning to seem like a distant memory, as it was pummelled by Lucknow 20.11 (131) to 4.10 (34).

The Gulls were competitive in the first quarter but were kept to just a single goal for each following quarter, with best-on Ben Haslam kicking three goals.

Lucknow had 10 goal kickers, with Jacob Green booting five goals, while Keenan Hynes named best player.

This weekend’s split round concludes with Boisdale-Briagolong taking on Wy Yung, and Stratford hosting Lindenow.

The Swans will host their match because of an expect power outage at Lindenow, where the game was scheduled to be played. The clubs’ round 11 match will now be played at Lindenow.
