STRATFORD asserted its dominance over East Gippsland football with an 89-point drubbing of Lindenow.
Returning to the club for a cameo appearance, Bairnsdale goal kicker Josh Kiss contributed seven, with Jack Bacon kicking five in the Swans’ 18.10 (118) to 4.5 (29) victory. The reliable Nick French was named best-on-ground for the visitors.
Lindenow was kept score-less in the third term, with Luke Dyer kicking two goals for the game, and Rohan Blandford named the Cats’ best player.

LUCKNOW defeated Paynesville in a close and low-scoring game, 6.13 (49) to 4.6 (30).
The lack of accuracy from the Magpies was all that stopped the match becoming a blow-out win.
Paynesville kicked just two points in the second term, before out-scoring Lucknow in the third to get within seven points at three-quarter-time, but was silenced from there, kept score-less in the final term.

BOISDALE-BRIAGOLONG dropped out of the top four after a disappointing showing against Wy Yung, which won 7.17 (59) to 3.8 (26).
The game was a struggle in the first half for the Bombers, their first goal coming in the third term.
Ruckman Nicoll Sandison returned to the side after injury, and kicked a goal, but Wy Yung had all the momentum.
